Ludlow Rotary Heart of the Community Event

The Ludlow Rotary Club invites you to the Heart of the Community Event—a night filled with dinner, entertainment and fun! Join us for an unforgettable evening on March 21, 2025, at the Gremio-Lusitano Club, 358 Windsor St., Ludlow MA, as we come together to support important local initiatives.

For just $50.00 per person, your ticket grants you access to an exciting night of dinner, music, dancing, and giving back. Dinner will be served by Tony & Penny's a Portuguese/America Restaurant, DJ Dave Costa and Emotion, a dynamic band and DJ combo, will set the stage with high-energy tunes and a variety of beats to keep you dancing all night long.

This event is more than just a celebration—it’s an opportunity to make a difference in our community. The funds raised will benefit:

  • Scholarships for local students pursuing higher education
  • The Take and Eat Program, which provides meals to seniors on the weekend
  • Ludlow Fire Department's Fire Prevention Program, helping to educate and protect our families
  • The Ludlow Community Center/Randal Boys and Girls Club, enriching the lives of young people with programs that promote education, fitness, and fun
  • Veterans Program
  • Local Food Pantry and Shelter Services

A Night of Joy and Generosity: Ludlow Rotary

This year’s annual tree lighting and Toys for Tots event, held on Sunday, December 1st, was a resounding success, and it’s all thanks to the incredible support of our community and generous sponsors. The Ludlow Rotary is thrilled to have witnessed such a heartwarming display of holiday spirit and community unity.

The event kicked off with our festive tree lighting ceremony, which illuminated the night with a dazzling display of lights and brought smiles to the faces of attendees of all ages. The atmosphere was filled with holiday cheer, as families gathered to enjoy the beauty of the season and celebrate together.

One of the highlights of the evening was the Toys for Tots drive. We were overwhelmed by the outpouring of generosity from our community members who donated an impressive number of toys. These gifts will go a long way in bringing joy to children in need this holiday season. It was truly heartwarming to see our community come together to support such a wonderful cause.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all the sponsors who made this event possible. Your support and contributions were instrumental in creating a memorable experience for everyone involved. We would also like to thank all the volunteers and community members who joined us and contributed their time and efforts to make this event a success.

As we reflect on this joyous occasion, we are reminded of the strength and kindness of our community. The Ludlow Rotary is proud to be part of such a supportive and caring town, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to serve and uplift our community.

Toys for Tots Collection Box Locations

Help Make the Holidays Bright: Toys for Tots Collection Box Locations

As the holiday season approaches, it’s time to spread some cheer and give back to those in need. This year, the Rotary Club of Ludlow is teaming up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program to ensure every child has a toy to open this Christmas. The Toys for Tots campaign brings communities together to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in need, and this year, you can contribute by visiting several collection box locations throughout Ludlow.

The main event will take place on Sunday, December 1, at 4:30 p.m., and we are encouraging local residents to drop off toys at the following locations throughout the town leading up to the event:

Collection Box Locations:

  • Ludlow Town Hall
  • Ludlow Senior Center
  • Ludlow Police Station
  • Ludlow Post Office
  • Ludlow Veterans Center
  • Luso Federal Credit Union
  • TD Bank
  • Ludlow Community Boys and Girls Club
  • Our Lady of Fatima Church
  • Hubbard Memorial Library

These locations will be accepting new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages—from infants to teens—so please consider purchasing a toy to brighten a child’s holiday. Donations will be accepted through the end of the day on Friday November 29th, so there’s plenty of time to contribute.

Let’s Make this a Holiday to Remember!

The goal is to collect as many toys as possible, and every donation counts. Let’s come together as a community to ensure every child has something to smile about this holiday season.

Last week we welcomed some of our scholarship recipients, Noelle Dionne and Gabrielle Mariani, at the Rotary Club of Ludlow lunch meeting.  It was great to learn about their accomplishments and plans for the future.

13th Annual Ludlow Rotary "Fore" the Students Golf Tournament

The Ludlow Rotary club cordially invites you to participate in the 13th Annual "FORE" the Students Golf Tournament on October 21, 2024. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Ludlow Rotary Charitable Foundation Scholarships and Educational Programs.   Please join Ludlow Rotary Club members, Ludlow community residents and business colleagues for a day of golf to raise monies "Fore" the Students.
